LATIN MASS MOVING TO SUNDAYS AT 1:30 P.M., BEGINNING FEBRUARY 3

Dear friends of the Extraordinary Form and Parishioners of St. John the Evangelist,

We are excited to announce that, beginning the first week in February, the Latin Mass at St. John the Evangelist will be moving to Sundays at 1:30 p.m.!

This means that on Saturday, February 2, there will NOT be a 6 p.m. Mass at St. John's. Instead, the Mass will be offered at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 3.

We hope that this change will make this treasure of the Church more accessible to the Parish community, and wish to take this opportunity to once again invite all visitors to this page to join us on Sunday, February 3 at 1:30 p.m.

If you have any questions, please email me at tsearles102@gmail.com.

CALLING ALL YOUNG MEN AND BOYS -- A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE LORD!

Dear friends of the Extraordinary Form and Parishioners of St. John the Evangelist,

We would like to invite any boys and young men who would be interested in learning to serve at the Extraordinary Form to please contact us to let us know. Our goal is to always have at least four servers (called "acolytes" in the Traditional form) who can assist at the Extraordinary Form every Saturday, but the more the merrier!

If you have any interest, please help us beautify and perpetuate this magnificent liturgy in our Parish and in the diocese by emailing Travis at tsearles102@gmail.com.

THE TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS AT ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST, AGAWAM, MA

WELCOME TO THE HOME FOR THE TRADITIONAL
LATIN MASS IN THE SPRINGFIELD DIOCESE!

Commencing Saturday, October 31, 2015, St. John the Evangelist Parish in Agawam, MA renewed its weekly celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass (or "TLM") according to the 1962 Missal of St. John XXIII!

Holy Mass is offered every Saturday at 6 p.m., and is celebrated as a Sunday vigil Mass.

Attendees of the TLM at St. John the Evangelist offer our sincerest gratitude to Father Michael Pierz and His Excellency, Bishop Mitchell T. Rozanski, for generously offering us a home for the TLM in the Springfield Diocese. Please pray for our Bishop and our administrator!

The TLM at St. John's is offered by either Father Michael Kokoszka, or Father John Lessard-Thibodeau. Attendees of the TLM would also like to thank these good priests for generously volunteering to offer the TLM at our parish. Please mention them in your prayers!
